Carrie Besnette

Josh Hanfling

Denver businessman and philanthropist, Josh Hanfling is the Founder of Hanfling & Associates, a Denver business that helps individuals and corporations define and achieve their business goals while incorporating involvement in charities, the community and politics and most recently founded HIM Creative, a full-service interactive media, marketing and design firm. Since moving to Denver in 1992 from Washington, D.C., Josh has been a nonprofit coordinator, contributor, volunteer and more with multiple organizations. An Entrepreneurial Studies graduate from Babson College in Massachusetts, he maintains a hands-on philosophy of community involvement. Josh has consulted on business matters to a wide variety of companies in all stages of development.  Among his earlier ventures in Colorado, Josh founded and ran Aartronics Corporation in Denver, a company that designed, manufactured and marketed computer diagnostic equipment, a portable multimedia device and a device for the U.S. intelligence community.  While in college, he founded and ran Aardvark Recycling, a wood recycling company with nine employees and first year revenues over $1 million.  Josh was also the founder of D.C. based Exclusive Travel Associates, a travel agency that served VIP and corporate clients that was sold in December of 2006.

Tracy Scott

Tracy Scott is an Account Strategist with McClain Finlon Advertising.  Her clients include Qwest Communications, Xcel Energy and the Denver Zoo.  A graduate of Trinity University in San Antonio, TX, with a degree in International Studies, Tracy has lived and worked in Denver for the past 6 years.  Locally, she has been involved in the Metro Denver Chamber 100, the Denver World Affair Council, The Denver University Bridge Project, The Chamber of the Americas, The Denver World Trade Center 501 Club and Denver’s Own Recreational Kickball League.

Bridget Beatty

Bridget Beatty is a school health specialist for Denver Public Schools, working at the district-level to address health issues such as obesity and the mental health needs of students. She received a bachelor's degree from Gonzaga University, and a master's in public health from the University of Denver. Bridget is a Denver native who is committed to community wellness and the environment. She likes to travel, stay active, and spend time outdoors.

Stephen Miller

Stephen Miller is an economist and the Executive Director of the CTEK Denver Venture Center at Stapleton, a facility designed to nurture start-up and early revenue technology companies and the entrepreneurs that lead them.  Prior to moving to the Stapleton neighborhood he was a Councilman for the Town of Castle Rock.  Like many other Denver Future Forum members, he was previously named one of Denver’s Forty Under 40 business leaders.  He has a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Denver and a Master of Public Administration from the University of Colorado.  His interests include music, wine, and golf, and he volunteers for a number of organizations focused on education and animal welfare.

Dan Prather

Dan Prather is a native of Denver and currently Senior Vice President of DualDraw, LLC. He has operated the air quality manufacturing business with his father since February 2005.  As a principal at DualDraw, LLC, Dan has been focused on growing the business, particularly its sales to the public sector and homeland security market. His primary responsibilities are  strategic direction, business development, and sales. Dan obtained his undergraduate degree at Boston College and spent the year after college volunteering in the Jesuit Volunteer Corps in Oakland, CA.  He obtained his Masters Degree in Public Adminstration from the Maxwell School at Syracuse University and following grad school spent five years at Deloitte Consulting as a management consultant assisting a variety of companies, governments and non-profits with process, technology, and economic impact projects.

Dan is a 2005 graduate of Leadership Denver and enjoys being active in his community.  He has held various positions on neighborhood and homeowner boards and has chaired a number of United Way campaigns.  In 2004, he was awarded chairperson of the year award from United Way for managing the record setting campaign at Deloitte.  He is an active volunteer on issues of homelessness and the needs of the poor.  During his free time he enjoys playing outside – especially in the Colorado mountains.

Natasha Léger

Natasha Léger is an accomplished business and international trade advisor to senior executives, and the U.S. government.  Ms. Léger has over seven years experience in scenario-based strategic planning.  She has developed global planning strategies and alternative planning assumptions for Fortune 500 companies across various industries.  Ms. Léger was an international trade attorney with the US Department of Commerce, where she advised the private sector and the US government on trade agreements and treaties, and supported US advocacy efforts with regard to companies competing for international projects.   Ms. Léger is also an adjunct professor at the University of Denver’s Institute for Public Policy Studies, where she teaches Scenario Planning, International Trade Policy, and Comparative Public Policy.  Ms. Léger is a member of the New York Bar, and obtained her Juris Doctor from Boston College School of Law, Masters of Law and Diplomacy from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, and Bachelor's Degree in International Affairs and Public Policy from the University of Denver.
